Confidential Counseling

Dallas County Sheriff’s Association is proud to announce our partnership with Dallas Assist the Officer Foundation to provide access to a Confidential Counseling Program. The stress of everyday life can take a toll on almost anyone— add to that the danger and stress of being a police officer—and sometimes life can be overwhelming. We are working to offer resources such as the ATO Counseling Program that can help address any stress, anxiety or depression officers may experience.

ATO’s comprehensive and confidential counseling program is designed exclusively to meet the needs of law enforcement officers. In 2004, this first of a kind counseling service was launched from the collaboration of officers and counseling professionals working together to address the challenging circumstances faced by law enforcement officers. No questions, no hassles and completely confidential.
